It was very interesting to find out that California has its own cuisine. When I think of California I recall the area which I lived in, the northern bay area of San Francisco, and the people and food I encountered while there. There is seafood everywhere and all of the dishes that you would order in a restaurant were very light. Although California cuisine tends to be lighter than other cuisines that we have explored this quarter, they are definitely no less decadent. Duck breast with creamed spinach and fried fennel…..sound light
